This has been a full season of juried exhibitions, with many overlapping, but I was excited to have been juried into 2 local shows!

The Central Coast Plein Air Painters show, "A Toast to the Coast," is on display (and sale) at Wargin Wines Tasting Room in Watsonville, CA. Lots of beautiful paintings on display, and for sale, to enjoy while tasting wonderful reds. 12 to 5 pm Sat and Sun now through end of August. I have 3 paintings there, with the "Wildflower Path, Pebble Beach" winning Honorable Mention! Thank you to judge, Patty Biederman.

And with the second show, I'm still pinching myself- for winning first place in the Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters members show, "California Dreaming". Wow!!! “After the Storm,” oil 8x10 (shown). Thank you to judge, Karen Leoni. This show is on display at the Pacific Grove Art Center, Pacific Grove. I have the honor of having 2 paintings in this show.

July is a month we have experienced personal loss in the passing of a family member, but have had wonderful opportunities for these gifts of celebration, as well!
